Month 2 Recap · July 2026 · Rhett Edwards Counseling

Month 2: the phone started ringing.

Month 1 was building the thing. Month 2 was the first month it was actually out in the world — and it turned into your busiest month on record. Here's what got done, what the numbers say, and what I'd caution against reading into them.

Month 2 of 4 · Complete
01 — The headline

Your busiest month since we started.

Your site went live June 21. July was the first full month it was out there, and it was the strongest month across every measure we're tracking.

8 new clients in roughly 35 days Your count
12–13 people reaching out per month, all channels Baseline was ~1
86 Google Business Profile interactions May 40 → June 69 → July 86
548 appearances in Google search results +68% per day vs. June

Three details from that worth calling out:

What this doesn't prove. Correlation isn't causation, and I'd rather say that out loud than oversell you. Three things line up: your Google profile climbed three months running, your search visibility is up 68% per day, and the site went live in the middle of it. What makes it more interesting than coincidence is the timing — summer is normally the slow season for counseling practices, and you grew through it. September through November is the real test.

02 — What got built

Making the site sell for you.

Month 1 got the foundation right. Month 2 was about a first-time visitor landing on your site and immediately getting who you are.

03 — The two things you flagged

Both handled.

Also worth knowing

The San Antonio inquiry about neurofeedback — your location is on the listing. Some of that is just people finding you from farther out than expected, which is a good problem to have.

04 — Where I could have done better

July was quieter from me than it should have been.

Being straight with you: I front-loaded a lot of work into June, and July was lighter on my end than I'd have liked. The things that mattered got done — the Odyssey fix, the brand kit, the About page — but I wasn't in regular contact and I let a couple of your questions sit longer than they should have.

August is a front-loaded month on purpose, and I'll be back in regular communication. You should hear from me more than you did last month.

05 — What's nextAugust · Month 3

Get found everywhere else.

Month 3 is about the places people look that aren't Google, plus a couple of tools you'll keep using after this engagement ends:

From you

A Canva design link so we can trade files, and your final Wednesday schedule once it's set. The full list is at the top of your 4-Month Plan.

In a sentence

The site is out in the world, and it's doing its job.

Eight new clients in five weeks is a real number, and it happened in the season that's supposed to be slow. Now we widen the net — more places to be found, and a simpler way for the people who already like you to send you someone.
