June 2026 · 4-Month Tune-Up Plan · Rhett Edwards Counseling
Here's the plan. Four months, one goal.
The whole point of this engagement is simple: more of the right people finding you online and reaching out. Right now your site and Google profile are quietly under-performing — not because anything's badly built, but because the back-end setup that makes a counseling practice findable was never finished. Below is exactly what I'll knock out, month by month, and how we'll know it's working. If it goes faster than four months, great — we pull the later work forward.

00 — The opportunity
The bright spot we're going to amplify.
Here's the most encouraging number I found. The people who land on your LENS Neurofeedback page spend an average of seven minutes and eight seconds reading it — and basically nobody leaves without exploring further. When the right person finds that page, it lands. The problem is that only about ten people a month ever get to it, because it's buried at the bottom of your site and your Google profile doesn't surface it.
That's the whole strategy in a sentence: you already have content that converts and a modality (Level-2 LENS) that almost nobody in your metro offers. We just need to put it where people can find it. Most of this plan is doing exactly that.
Month 1 — Foundation & first visibilityJune
Get the basics actually in place.
This month is mostly invisible plumbing — but it's the plumbing that's been keeping you out of Google's local results. By the end of it, your site stops working against you and your Google profile starts showing up for the right searches.
- Fix the broken link and move your LENS + Brainspotting pages into your top menu so people actually find them.
- Rewrite your homepage's title and description so Google understands what you do and where you do it.
- Fill in your business info — address, hours, phone, services. This one fix feeds both your website and Google at the same time.
- Activate your Google Business Profile: add hours, set the right categories, upload a first photo set, and start drafting responses to all 12 of your reviews.
- Reconnect Google Search Console so we can finally see which searches you're already showing up for.
- Trim your contact form so more of the people who start it actually finish it.
- Smooth out the slow load-in animations so the homepage doesn't look blank for a beat.
End of month
A short "what changed" note from me — before/after screenshots, your profile-strength bar going green, and the first real search data flowing in.
Month 2 — Your story & your proofJuly
Make the site sell for you.
With the foundation solid, we make sure that when someone lands on your site they immediately get who you are and trust that other people have had a great experience with you.
- Rewrite your About page in your own "therapy is an artform" voice — warm, human, not clinical.
- Put your best Google reviews right on your homepage, plus a dedicated reviews page where all 12 live.
- Swap the stock photos for real shots of you and your space, from the shot list I'll send you.
- Finish your Google Business Profile: every service tiled, six months of posts queued in your voice, and owner-responses published on all 12 reviews.
- Correct the outdated office mentions on your Brainspotting page so everything consistently points to your Spring office.
End of month
Your site and Google profile are sales-ready. You could send a brand-new prospect to either one and they'd see something complete and convincing.
Month 3 — Get found everywhere elseAugust
Show up where the other searches happen.
Not everyone finds a therapist by Googling a name. This month we put you in the other places people look, and set up a rhythm that keeps reviews coming in long after we're done.
- Build out your directory listings — TherapyDen, GoodTherapy, and Inclusive Therapists all rank well for the modalities you offer.
- Refresh your Psychology Today profile — new photo, rewritten personal statement, updated specialties and fees. It's currently sending you almost no one; it should be a real source.
- Set you up with a simple way to ask for reviews — a branded card template and an easy weekly cadence you can run yourself.
- First real read on the numbers — how your Google profile and search rankings are actually moving.
End of month
You're discoverable well beyond your own name, and you've got a review habit that keeps working after the engagement ends.
Month 4 — Prove it & decide what's nextSeptember
Confirm the gains, then hand you the keys.
We make sure the improvements are real, put everything in one place, and figure out the right way to keep it going — whether that's a light ongoing retainer or a clean handoff so you can run it yourself.
- A full before-and-after report — site visits, contact form submissions, Google profile performance, search rankings, and Psychology Today views.
- Another six months of Google posts queued so your profile keeps looking active without you thinking about it.
- A final tech sweep for any new broken links or issues that crept in.
- A short walkthrough video so you can keep posting, responding to reviews, and updating your info on your own.
- A straight conversation about whether an ongoing maintenance retainer makes sense, or whether you're all set to take it from here.
End of month
Clear proof of what changed, and a practice you can either hand back to me to maintain or comfortably run yourself.
05 — How we'll know it's working
The numbers we'll watch together.
I captured these before touching anything, so at the end we can show exactly what moved. I'll update them at the end of each month.
| What we're tracking |
Where it is today |
Where we're headed |
| People visiting your site each month | ~63 | 150 |
| People who actually reach out | ~1 / month | 4–5 / month |
| Google Business Profile completeness | about half-built | fully active |
| Responses on your 12 reviews | 0 | all 12 + ongoing |
| "counselor near me, Spring TX" | not in local results | in the local 3-pack |
| "LENS neurofeedback Houston" | invisible | top 3 |
| Psychology Today profile views | ~1 / month | 5–10 / month |
06 — What I need from you
A handful of small things, that's it.
None of these are urgent enough to hold up Month 1 — I can start today. But the sooner I have them, the faster we move.
- Your logo file — the original vector version if you have it (an AI, SVG, or EPS), otherwise a high-res image is fine.
- Two minutes to reconnect Google Search Console from your Google account — I'll walk you through it live or send steps.
- Photos from the shot list I'll send — just your iPhone, about two weeks to grab them.
- A thumbs-up to shorten the contact form — dropping date-of-birth at minimum.
Next step
That's the map. Let's get going.
I'm starting on Month 1 this week — you'll get your first "what changed" note at the end of June. Anything in here you want to reorder, or anything you were hoping to see that isn't on the list? Just tell me.
